Illustrator, Designer, Musician, Collector. Big movie fan…

John Sloboda is a Graphic Artist working and living out of Cleveland, OH. With a BFA in Illustration from the Cleveland Institute of Art, John is a life-long fan of just about all things sci-fi and horror related. He is also heavily influenced by music, being a musician himself – writing and playing live throughout the mid-West for more than a decade. His work often reflects many of these passions, whether through depictions of iconic characters or just his fast and loose use of line and color.

John is also the Director of Design and Exhibitions at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (major exhibitions for John Mellencamp, Paul Simon, the Clash, Bruce Springsteen, Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones), and a sketch-card artist for Topps (Star Wars), The Upper Deck Co. (Marvel), Cryptozoic (DC Comics, Ghostbusters), and Breygent Marketing (Grimm, Bates Motel). Additional work includes illustration for AMC television (the Walking Dead), New Beverly Cinema, Corporate Punishment Records, and the 501st Legion.
